# Weekly Review: Evidence-Backed Themes

Use this once a week, after you have gathered the week's notes into one place.

## Step 1: Collect

Gather this week's notes — journal entries, meeting notes, a running self-message channel — into one document.

Do not paste into an unapproved AI tool:

- confidential work or client information;
- health details;
- specifics about a relationship conflict involving another person;
- anything about a child.

Redact names and identifiers before pasting.

## Step 2: Pattern Candidates

Minimum evidence bar: 3 dated quotes per pattern. Anything with fewer goes in "weak signal," not the main list.

| Candidate pattern | Quoted evidence (date each) | Accept / Reject | Why |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
|  |  |  |  |
|  |  |  |  |

**Weak signal (1–2 quotes only — not enough evidence yet):**

-

## Step 3: Open Loops

Things mentioned as unresolved, planned, or waiting on someone, with no follow-up note this week.

| Open loop | First mentioned | Still unresolved? | Next step, or explicit "drop" |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
|  |  |  |  |

## Step 4: One Adjustment

Choose exactly one. Not three.

- **Accepted pattern it responds to:**
- **Adjustment I am choosing:**
- **Why this one, not the model's top suggestion (if different):**
- **How I will know in 7 days:**
- **Review date:**

## If Nothing Survives the Evidence Bar

That is a valid outcome. Skip Step 4, carry the open loops forward, and note: "Quiet week — no pattern with enough evidence."

## Reset Checklist

- [ ] Delete any pasted confidential text from the AI tool's history if the tool retains it.
- [ ] Save this sheet somewhere you will see it next week.
- [ ] If a pattern touches a relationship, health, or work-safety concern, the next step is a conversation with a person — not a more detailed prompt.
