Voice / Likeness Consent Checklist

Use with Get Consent Before Synthetic Voice or Likeness in a Project.

Gate (all required before generate)

• Who (identifiable person / authority) named
• What (voice / face / performance) scoped
• Which scripts/scenes attached or summarized
• Where it will appear listed
• How long (end date) set
• Future-use withdrawal and takedown terms written, including governing law/contract, controlled channels, response period, and copies that cannot be promised recalled
• Compensation terms written
• Storage location + deletion date set
• Explicit block on intimate/political/defamatory extras unless separately consented

Hygiene

• Reference media access-controlled
• Not pasted into unapproved consumer tools
• Applicable legal, contract, venue, and platform disclosure rules checked; credits will also label a synthetic performance when audiences could otherwise assume it is real
• Controlled-channel stop/takedown plan understood; no universal recall promised after distribution

If any box is empty

Stop. Redesign, hire a consenting performer, or drop the element.
